Can i use it on a desk top
Yes if your desktop has SATA drive support. My desktop is about 2011
vintage and it supports SATA II. It’s not SATA III so I see slower Data
transfer than the drive is capable of (280 MB/s vs around 500 for newer
machines). Still, it’s way faster than the drive it replaced (about 28
MB/s)
